Right now, your puppy is rehearsing behaviours that may become permanent habits as they grow.
Biting, jumping, ignoring you… these don’t fix themselves.
Our in-home puppy training in Cork helps you take control early, so you don’t end up dealing with bigger problems later.
- Limited availability – We keep puppy intake low to ensure you have proper support.
- Book your puppy training now and start seeing changes from the first session.
- Puppy Training from €469.99
With over 25 Years of experience, we focus on practical, everyday skills like toilet training, biting, socialisation, recall, and calm behaviour around the home.
Not sure what your puppy needs?
Tell Lauren what’s going on and she’ll help you work out whether puppy training is the right fit — no obligation.
“Lauren’s positive, reward-based approach has proven to be the best fit for my puppy, Zowie. She is understanding, creative and always focused on finding the most effective solution. As a first-time puppy owner, she has made a huge difference for both me and my dog.”
“Lauren is so lovely! She was so good with my pocket bully Coco and so welcoming. She even brings her own dog sometimes to also teach your dog manners. And she’s a dog lover which when looking for a trainer is a bonus! Would recommend 😊”
“I would 100% recommend Lauren. She gave excellent and clear guidance for us as first time puppy owners. Her knowledge and experience is vast and I believe that we have a calm, happy dog because of her input. I really feel that the at home dog training was a great investment for us and the weekly practical aspect strengthened our bond with Millie – we really do think that she is now a super pup! We can take our puppy out with us and she is now socialable whereas when I initially contacted Lauren she was becoming reactive with other dogs.”

What You’ll Learn in Puppy Training
By the end of your training, you’ll feel confident handling your puppy in real-life situations — not just at home.
- Personalised guidance in your own home
- Clear step-by-step training plans and handouts
- Support between sessions
- Practical, real-life training scenarios
- A puppy that listens and responds reliably in real-life situations
- A puppy who wants to do what you ask of them

Why train your puppy at home?
Because this is where the problems actually happen.
We can work on your puppy settling in the kitchen, greeting visitors, biting your hands, walking out the front door, listening when the TV is on and coping with everyday distractions — rather than expecting your puppy to learn everything in an artificial training environment.
“Lauren was excellent at her job. I contacted Lauren after reading her reviews. I enrolled our Labrador pup in the 7 week course. I would highly recommend Lauren as I saw a vast improvement in our dog. She teaches you how to manage your dog.”
“Lauren is an amazing trainer. Booked the 7 week puppy class with her and it has been great and so much fun.”
“Planet Pup for the win! Lauren is knowledgeable and proactive in her approach, she cares for her furry clients and loves a challenge.”
Frequently Asked Questions about Puppy Training in Cork
01 What age should I start training my puppy?
We train puppies from as young as 8 weeks old in our 8-week Early Puppy course. From 12 weeks old, we switch puppies to our 7-week puppy training course.
02 What happens after I book?
After you book, you’ll receive access to my booking calendar, where you can book your training sessions at times that suit you.
If you’ve booked a Behaviour Consult, go ahead and book your follow-up sessions through the calendar. I’ll then contact you separately to arrange your history call before your initial consultation.
03 What can you help my puppy with?
We can help with common puppy challenges including biting and mouthing, toilet training, jumping up, lead walking, recall, socialisation, settling, chewing, focus and calm behaviour around the home.
04 Why are there two different puppy courses?
Very young puppies are still developing their senses and require a slightly slower tempo, so we developed our 8-week-long Early Puppy Course. From 12 weeks old, pups change quite a lot and can handle a faster pace, so are better suited to our 7-week Puppy Training Course.
05 How long is each session?
Sessions last approximately an hour.
06 What if my puppy is very energetic or distracted?
That’s completely normal. The training is designed for real-life puppies — not perfect ones.
07 What if my puppy is older than 6 months?
For dogs older than 6 months, we have a 6-week Good Dog Obedience course that is better suited to them.
08 My puppy is not fully vaccinated yet. Can I still train?
Yes! Because we train your pup in your home, starting training before they have had all of their vaccinations is perfectly safe.
09 Do I need any special equipment?
Once you book the course, you will receive an email with the full agenda and equipment list. Equipment includes items you likely already have, such as a lead, harness, collar, bed, and treats.
